Water ballon fun!

took a twiste on another craft this one is water balloon ice!
I filled water balloons with paint (you could use food coloring) and the rest of the way with water. Then dried them off on a paper towel and put them in individual bags to freeze, once frozen I took off the balloon and let my daughter take them out on a hot day to play with and watch them melt.
painting with water balloons!
Before filling water balloons with water add some paint then add the water. Put some paper on the ground out side and let Ur little one have fun throwing and popping the balloons making a picture on the paper or ground! (balloons can be a choking hazard so be careful)

Elf reminder!

Valentines day sensory bin for all ages!

Sensory bins are something you can really make for any age and to fit into any budget. Mine was made for my own kids (ages 6&7) and made from items bought at my local dollar store. A sensory bin is a bin that engages some if not all of the 5 senses. Mine did not include scent or taste but was followed up by Valentines day candy as a treat. Now that my kids are no longer toddlers but still love these bins I try to include things I can use later on for different crafts or decorating. So for this bin I added heart shaped buckets, shredded paper, stickers, necklaces, Valentines day clothes pins, and a heart shaped bell door hanger. Recently I have noticed my kids enjoy adding other toys to play time and I love that. Seeing what they come up with and hearing the stories change as they grow is pretty neat to see. Anyway I hope this inspires you to try a sensory bin out with your baby/toddler/or child, and have a good rest of your morning, evening or night! Bye!
Side note~ Sadly I have …

One way I keep my kids learning over the summer break!

We all know that summer can be one time our kids can lose what they learn during the school year. We get told this over and over every year and it is very true. So every summer we try to fit in as much learning as we can(while still having fun). This year we are trying spring/summer journals. As much as possible we  take walks and every time the kids see something they find interesting they either write about it and/or draw a picture to go with it. This way we are keeping up with new vocabulary and learning about many different things.
So yeah, this is the new thing we are adding this summer to help keep my kids learning! So far it has been a big hit, lets hope it stays that way. :)

Have a good rest of your morning, evening, or night! Bye guys!~
